Alfred LEBLANC: One of the most famous airship pilot, winner of Gordon Bennet Cup in 1906 and second in 1907 with Edgar Mix, after 1908, he turns his interest to airplanes and was one of the first french pilots (NB17)
Edgar W. Mix [1866-1911] was an internationally renowned early balloonist and the second American to win the Gordon Bennett Balloon Race. This he accomplished on October 6, 1909, flying from Zurich, Switzerland to land near Warsaw, Poland
