Group of 6 vintage photographs from the archives of Charles Gilbert.
This group shows the interior of Gilbert's workshop in Moscow. The workshop is filled with tools, balloon fabric, baskets, a Singer sewing machine...
The last 2 photos shows scenes during the varnishing of the silk fabric used for the balloons.
The second photograph bears Gilbert's russian stamp.
