Altogether there are four power dams along the gatineau, generating 630,000 H.P.. At the mouth of the stream, 125 miles north of Ottawa, the largest water storage dam in the world in being constructed and is now 90 per cent finished. The dam will impound, when completed 95,000,000,000 cubic feet of the waters of the erratic Gatineau River. The Farmers Rapids dam itself generated 170,000H.P.'
