Girls of Stepney have formed their own Athletic Club and much promising material has been discovered in their ranks by Frank Stefenson, the old athlete, who is training them. A speciality of their work is strand-pulling and already this year a member of the club has won the strand pulling championship of Great Britain. Showing them how to do it. A youthful member of the club demonstrates her powers at the hand stand.
