Lot of 10 vintage Charles Gilbert aerial photographs from Charles Gilbert's archives, several with his russian stamp on the back. The larger panorama is made up of 2 photos taped together. 2 other photos make up the same panorama with a slightly lighter contrast. One photos has the words Vers la Volga (towards the Volga) on the back and shows a small part of Gilbert's balloon basket.
These photos are from the archives of french aeronaut Charles Gilbert who lived in Moscow from around 1900 up to the fall of the Russian Empire.
