Titled in french on reverse: Moore Brabazon dans sa nacelle.

John Moore Brabazon was the first person to receive a pilot's license in Britain and the first englishman to fly an aeroplane on December 4, 1908. He is seen here in his Voisin biplane.

He later was Minister of Transport and Minister of Aircraft Production and was elevated to the House of Lords as Baron Brabazon of Tara in 1942.
