Men Of Hitler's New Order. A Boggy Road On The eastern Front.
With unconscious irony, the German caption on the above photo carried the German idiom best translated into American mule-skinner language as 'Whoa--Giddap!' minus the adjectives. Apparently the vihicles have bogged down in the mudd, mucky road somewhere on the Eastern Front. Note the snow in the background. And that the men are in the lockstep of the 'new order.'
