After his success crossing the English Channel, Bleriot received more and more orders for his airplanes and opened schools in Buc, Etampes, Pau and Issy les Moulineaux to train the future pilots. This section displays a sample of what we have in inventory on the Etampes and Pau schools including several autographed photos from 1911. Many of these real photo postcards are from a studio named Modern'Photo which seems to have been the official photographer at the Bleriot Schools, at least in Pau and Etampes. |
